MCFM Information Mission · To provide consumers with a choice of fresh, quality produce, food products, handcrafted items and other services. · To provide an outlet for local farmers, producers and artisans to promote their products within the Madison community. · To provide an experience that encourages community spirit and keeps money and energy within the community. The Madison City Farmers Market (MCFM) is a truly local market, offering products that are grown or made in the Tennessee Valley. The MCFM is a producer-only market sponsored by the city of Madison and governed by local farmers and consumers. Everything sold at the market is grown or made by members of the market. The MCFM gives priority to farmers and farm products but also includes handmade and homemade products and crafts. All handmade and homemade products and crafts must be juried prior to acceptance in the market and space for local artisans is limited. At the MCFM our wonderful vendors contribute to the friendly climate of the market through appealing display, cheerful and welcoming interactions, and generally pitching in to make our market successful.
